New Gospel project from Barry Scott

Sunday Mornin’ Meetin’ Time is the new self-produced bluegrass Gospel album from Barry Scott and Second Wind. The guys took an interesting tack with this project; all of the tracks are either sung a cappella, or are played as bluegrass instrumentals.

There is some terrific singing here, featuring fine quartet arrangements and the superb tenor voice of their newest member, Daniel Salyer, who also plays guitar. Barry selected songs that will be familiar from hymn time at church, and hopes that everyone will enjoy their versions.

“It may not be the typical arrangements you are used to hearing, but I think you will enjoy our versions of some classic old hymns and some of my all-time favorite Gospel songs.”

Here are a few samples…
