Mountain Faith with the Sciota High School Orchestra

Event Details

Mountain Faith has shared a new live video of them performing late last year with the student musicians from the the Sciota High School Orchestra in Dublin, OH. Mandolinist Cory Piatt had performed with their orchestra once before about two years ago, and held on to the idea of working with them again when he joined up with Mountain Faith in 2014.

As Cory mentions in his introduction below, the perfect opportunity was presented when they sent tracks from their current album, That Which Matters, off to Nashville fiddle maestro Tim Crouch to add strings while the project was still being recorded. A score was created for the Sciota students from the parts Tim added to the original track, and this video was captured when they performed it together in December.
