Merry Christmas from Antique Persuasion

Event Details

antique_persuasionAntique Persuasion, a Nashville-based special project group consisting of Brandon Rickman, Jenee Fleenor, and Brennen Leigh, is preparing to release a 6-track EP of Christmas music next week.

This is the group that had released a Carter Family tribute this past Spring, Don’t Forget Me Little Darling, with a dozen reinterpretations of songs popularized by the famous Virginia family.

This new album, Christmas Time’s A-Coming, consists of a half dozen familiar holiday songs, with lead vocals evenly split among the three singers. Arrangements run from straight up bluegrass to mountain ballads and acoustic swing, with first rate lead vocals and lovely harmonies.

Brandon play mandolin, Jenee is on fiddle, and Brennen on guitar with Mark Fain on bass. The music was recorded at Hilltop Studios by John Nicholson, and produced/mixed by Jimmy Metts for Voxhall Records.

Included are:

  • Christmas Time’s A-Coming
  • Away In A Manger
  • While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night
  • Beautiful Star of Bethlehem
  • It Came upon The Midnight Clear
  • White Christmas

Tracks are available to radio programmers now at Airplay Direct, and the EP will be offered for sale at popular digital resellers on November 27.
