Love Me Darlin’ (Just Tonight) video from Karin Wright

Event Details

Karin Wright

Norwegian bluegrass/country singer Karin Wright has released a new music video from her current album, You Got The Silver.

It’s for the familiar Stanley Brothers classic, Love Me Darlin’ Just Tonight, but it takes a unique approach. The musical arrangement is hard-charging and traditional, but the video consists of animations by Karin’s friend, Hanne Nystroem with Haugtussa Productions.

See if this doesn’t give you a chuckle.

The album contains a mix of standards and Karin’s originals, recorded in Virginia with assistance from the modern Reno & Harrell: Don Wayne Reno on banjo, Dale Reno on mandolin, Ron Spears on bass, Robbie Wells on fiddle, and Mitch Harrell on guitar. Steve Wilson also appears on reso-guitar.

If you listen closely, you’ll also hear Mitch taking a few of the lead vocal lines on the video.
