Loser video from The Cleverlys

cash_cropThe Cleverlys have dropped their latest video, a stylized theatrical reenactment of Loser, with a bluegrass twist.

That’s right… they’ve reworked Beck’s rap/rock hit from 1994 for their upcoming Cash Crop EP, due August 12 from Average Joes Entertainment. It’s a rip-roarin’ battle in the ring as Digger Cleverly and the boys turn Beck’s recitation into a grovin’ grass tune with tongues firmly implanted in their cheeks.

We’re assured that no one was seriously injured in the making of this video.

Cash Crop is available now for pre-order in iTunes, which allows for an instant download of Loser, the first single. The EP also features a Cleverly reimagining of By The Way from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flo Rida’s Low, Say My Name from Destiny’s Child, Backstreet’s No Diggity, and the title track, an original number co-written by Paul Harris and Phillip Moore.

Can you just imagine?
