Here’s another music video from Country Grass, the latest album release from Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road. The concept of this project is to pair hits by recent country stars with a driving bluegrass band. The band, of course is Carolina Road, and the country stars include favorites like John Conlee, Lee Greenwood, Crystal Gayle, and more.
For this video, it’s Eddy Raven doing a grassy version of I Got Mexico with Lorraine and the boys. In the summer of 1984, this song owned country radio, spending a total of 13 weeks on the charts, and reaching #1.
