Mark & Maggie O’Connor have released a music video for one of the tunes on the upcoming album, Duo. It’s a jig Mark composed and performs with his new bride, Maggie, which he call’s F.C.’s Jig, an adaptation from O’Connor’s Fiddle Concerto, which he composed in 1990. You can clearly hear his twin loves of American fiddle and classical music.
Duo is set for an August 5 release.
Mark’s son Forrest captured the video at Rockaway Beach, NY along with his Wisewater bandmate, Jim Shirey. Music videos were shot for 7 of the 14 tracks at various locations in and around New York City. Be on the lookout for those soon as well.
