West Virginia’s Stoney Creek has released Come Stay Awhile, the first single from their upcoming album, Memories & Tears.
The new project is a tribute to songwriter Deanna Stottlemyer, the late sister of Stoney Creek’s bassist/vocalist Libby Files. 11 of Deanna’s songs are featured on Memories & Tears, the first recorded project from this configuration of the band.
Brett Smeltzer is on mandolin, Kenton Catlett on guitar, and Troy Stangle on banjo. All three assist Libby in the vocal department.
Come Stay Awhile is offered to radio programmers now at Airplay Direct, and to consumers from popular online download sites. Radio hosts without access to Airplay Direct may contact the band by email to request a direct download of the single.
