Bluegrass Circle Promotions links up

Tim White, Cory Hemilright, John Locust, and Lorraine Jordan signing the deal to launch Bluegrass Circle PromotionsFive promoters of prominent bluegrass festivals have banded together in a new venture to jointly market and publicize their events. Together they will function as Bluegrass Circle Promotions.

Involved are Cory Hemilright (Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival), Lorraine Jordan (Bluegrass Christmas In the Smokies), John Locust (Bluegrass in Cherokee), Don Mitchell (Blue Grass by the Rock), and Tim White (Song of the Mountains Bluegrass Festival). At this point they represent major festivals in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Bluegrass Circle will handle management and promotion for all of these events.

Hemilright tells us that each have skin in the game.

“We have all come together to promote the events under one business, Bluegrass Circle Promotions. We are all financially involved in different ways and have a percentage in each event.

I am excited to have a great team each with different strengths to help the festivals and to start up a few new ones in the future!”

Jordan adds a second to Cory’s perspective.

“Each of us brings very unique strengths to the group. When we starting talking about collaborating, we realized that given the geography of our individual events in North Carolina and Tennessee, and our interest in supporting Song of the Mountains, made this a natural partnership, and we are all very excited to be part of it.”

A web site for Bluegrass Circle Promotions is currently being developed. When completed, it will be available at www.bluegrasscirclepromotions.com.
