B-5 from Jacob Underwood

Event Details

Jacob UnderwoodPlum River Records has released a debut single from The Banjo Files, an upcoming album from banjo picker Jacob Underwood.

It’s a tune of his called B-5, which features Jacob on banjo and guitar, with Ron Stewart on fiddle, Sierra Hull on mandolin, and Matt Wallace on bass. It’s a right swift banjo number that shows this 19-year-old picker knows his way around the 5 string.

The single can be downloaded now for radio at Airplay Direct.

You can hear Jacob performing regularly with Bluegrass Express along with his grandfather, Gary, on guitar and his dad, Greg, on bass. Andy Hatfield plays mandolin. They are based in Illinois.
