It’s getting on that time of year again, with the eligibility period for the 2016 IBMA Awards drawing nigh, and the new releases are flying fast and furious. We’ve had several come in so far this week so we’ll try to get to all of them shortly.
One you’ll want to hear for sure is the latest from Steve Gulley & New Pinnacle, Aim High, set to be included on the band’s second album coming this summer from Rural Rhythm Records. It’s a new song from Jon Weisberger and Mark Simos, which will serve as the title track of the new record.
It’s a squealer, with two hands full of chords. Here’s a taste…
New Pinnacle is Bryan Turner on bass, Gary Robinson on mandolin, and Matthew Cruby on banjo. Tim Crouch plays fiddle on the upcoming record.
The single is available now in iTunes, and to radio programmers at Airplay Direct.
