Sierra Hull and Kathy Mattea live stream online

Event Details

Have we overdone the Sierra Hull coverage this past few weeks? I hope not, because here is one more piece of Hull news.

To help celebrate her new CD, Daybreak, released on Rounder this past Tuesday, Sierra gets to perform tonight at the Berklee Performance Center, on the campus of the Berklee School of Music in Boston where she has been enrolled this past 18 months. She and her fine band, Highway 111, will be opening for Kathy Mattea at 8:15 p.m., getting to show everyone at school just what she is all about.

The show is part of the ongoing 2011 Berklee College of Music Signature Series, which pairs celebrated national artists with prominent Berklee students in concert.

For those of us not in Boston this evening, the entire concert will be offered as a free video stream online, courtesy of Concert Window. The company is the brainchild of Dan Gurney and Forrest O’Connor, both members of Boston’s hybrid string band, The Hay Brigade, and exists to provide these web streams of live performances.

To watch Hull and Mattea tonight, just go to www.concertwindow.com at 8:00 p.m. and enjoy the show!
