The Roys are offering a taste of their next Rural Rhythm Project, The View, with a new single released today. It’s called No More Lonely, written by the band’s sibling namesakes, Lee and Elaine Roy, along with noted country writer Steve Dean.
Like their previous project, Gypsy Runaway Train, this one was recorded with their touring band. Clint White is on fiddle, Daniel Patrick on banjo, and Erik Alvar on bass. Elaine plays guitar and Lee mandolin, with the brother/sister duo handling the lead vocals.
Work on the new album is ongoing, and despite a busy summer touring season, The Roys are determined to get it finished in time for a September release.
No More Lonely fits right in with the band’s professed preference for uplifting songs – happy grass, if you will.

Radio hosts who regularly receive the Fresh Cuts & New Tracks CD sampler from Rural Rhythm will find No More Lonely on the next edition.
Rural Rhythm is also offering free downloads of six tracks from several of their releases. These include both new and classic music from Mashville Brigade, Clay Jones, Pine Mountain Railroad, Red Smily, Hylo Brown, and Curly Fox. All these songs can be downloaded free of charge from the Rural Rhythm web site.
