The Southeast Michigan Bluegrass Music Association held its December meeting at the Kentuckians of Michigan Friday evening. Members had a jam session after the business meeting. New County Grass from Michigan provided the evening’s stage show.
Certificates were presented to our organizational members, the Kentuckians of Michigan and KC Campground. New County Grass invited local favorites fiddler, Virgil Shouse and singer/guitar player, John Coffey to join them for a few tunes. They then invited multi-instrumentalist, Mitch Manns on stage for a couple songs.
SMBMA will meet at the Kentuckians of Michigan on January 16th. Ohio/Michigan band Harbourtown will provide the stage show.
We invite everyone in the area to join in a night of fun bluegrass music.
