Band of Ruhks video coming soon

Event Details

Band Of Ruhks shooting Coal Mining Man video at Nashville's Northstar Studios - photo by Rhonda PriceFresh off the success of their debut album, Band of Ruhks is putting the finishing touches on a music video for the first single, Coal Mining Man.

Bassist and vocalist Ronnie Bowman tells us that they have already shot footage of Ralph Stanley, who kicks off the song on the album, and spent this past Monday shooting performance segments at Nashville’s Northstar Studios.

All they need now is some b-roll video of miners at work, which Ronnie says is on the way, and they can get this wrapped.

“Kentucky Senator Robin Webb, is giving us archives of actual historic footage to use as well. Really excited about the record, this video, the whole thing!”

Appearing in the video are Ruhks members Bowman, Kenny Smith, Don Rigsby, and John Meyer, along with Leanna Price on fiddle and Randy Hampton on drums.

You can check the Band of Ruhks web site for tour dates, which are being rapidly added for this season.

We’ll be sure to post the video as soon as it is released.
