Hard Cry Moon is the name of bluegrass singer/songwriter Donna Ulisse’s latest album, and her most recent video. It’s an old-time country weeper written by Donna and her husband, Rick Stanley, about a long night of tears and heartbreak.
This marks her ninth album of mostly original material for Hadley Music Group in Nashville. In just a few weeks since its release, the CD is already a hit with bluegrass radio and online sales.
As usual, Donna gives the song a straightforward bluegrass treatment.
