Drinkin’ Alone video from The Steeldrivers

Event Details

The Muscle Shoals Recordings - SteeldriversThe SteelDrivers have just released a new music video for Drinkin’ Alone, one of the tracks on their current album, The Muscle Shoals Recordings.

It’s a song written by former ‘Drivers lead singer and current county ‘it guy,’ Chris Stalpenton, along with Jay Knowles.

Gary Nichols shows he can do the country blues every bit as well as anybody on this gritty drinking song, along with Richard Bailey on banjo, Mike Fleming on bass, Tammy Rogers on fiddle, and Brent Truitt on mandolin.

The video was shot at Nashville’s Yazoo Brewing Company, with the Steeldrivers in turn trying their hand at managing the various brewmaster tasks. Let’s just say that they had best stick to the blues and bluegrass.
