Why Worry from Rebekah Speer

Event Details

Rebecca Speer

Huckleberry Records has a new single from Rebekah Speer, who is both a Huckleberry label artist, and an employee of parent company, Turnberry Records.

Rebekah has been involved in bluegrass and gospel music all her life, some of that time alongside her twin sister, Lizzy Long, with The Little Roy & Lizzy Show. She has also been a part of Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, and Daughters of Bluegrass.

For the single Speer has chosen a new song by Rick Lang and Jeff Daugherty called Why Worry. It asks the perennial question, is it worth bothering yourself about things you can’t change?

Rebekah sings the lead with Cody Kilby on guitar, Tristan Scroggins on mandolin, Derek Vaden on banjo, Justin Moses on fiddle and reso-guitar, Evan Winsor on bass, and Josh Hunt on drums. Jaelee Roberts and Justin Moses add harmony vocals.

Together they give a loping, medium-tempo treatment to this lighthearted number.

Have a listen.

Why Worry is available now from popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via Get It Played.
