Ghost Town from Amanda Cook

Event Details

Amanda Cook

For her latest Mountain Fever Records single, Amanda Cook has chosen Ghost Town by Theo MacMillan, recorded with her own Amanda Cook Band.

Ghost Town is a story of lost love, using the metaphor of an abandoned city, where all the windows and doors are boarded up, and there no one around. As the lyrics are revealed, we see that one half of a romantic partnership has moved on, while the other is left behind in a cold, empty place… your proverbial ghost town.

Amanda delivers the song with passion and emotional appeal, supported by Justin Alexander on guitar, Carolyne Van Lierop Boone on banjo, Troy Boone on mandolin, George Mason on fiddle, and Joshua Faul on bass. Justin and Troy sing harmony.

They take it as a fast-moving grasser with a contemporary groove.

Check it out.

Ghost Town is available now from popular download and streaming services online. Radio programmers are invited to contact Mountain Fever for an airplay copy of the track.
