Looking at the World Through a Windshield video from Trey Hensley

Event Details

Trey Hensley

Newly solo bluegrass artist Trey Hensley, noted guitar superpicker and vocalist, has shared a live performance video from his album release concert for Can’t Outrun the Blues at the Jackson Theater in Jonesboro, TN in March.

It’s Looking at the World Through a Windshield, a country hit for Del Reeves in 1967, which Trey recorded on Daniel Grindstaff’s Heroes and Friends project in 2024. It’s a good ol’ truck driving song about being away from home on the road, and it’s just as applicable to touring musicians as it is to truckers.

Daniel joins him on stage playing banjo, along with Bronwyn Keith-Hynes on fiddle, and Thomas Cassell on mandolin.

Enjoy.
