More great radio for Friday (2/25).
Ralph Stanley will be calling in to WNCW during the 2:00 p.m. hour (EST) to talk with Dennis Jones about the good doctor’s upcoming Gospel CD, A Mother’s Prayer. The album is expected this Spring on Rebel Records.
Dennis plans to talk to Ralph about the new CD, about his recent autobiography, Man Of Constant Sorrow, and the big 84th birthday bash scheduled for Friday night at the The Old Rock School in Valdese NC.
The birthday show had to be rescheduled following Stanley’s brief hospitalization in January of this year. A pacemaker was installed in January, and Ralph is said to be fit as a fiddle.
