Nick Keen - photo by Andrea CrouchThe Clay Hess Band has announced their newest member, Nick Keen, who will play mandolin with the group. He steps in for Ryan Moyers, who turned in his resignation earlier this year.

Nick joins Clay and his son Brennan Hess on guitars, John Meyers on banjo, and Irl Hees on bass.

Clay is well pleased with his latest hire.

“Nick is a great player and a great guy. We are all sorry to see Ryan go, but at the same time, we are looking forward to Nick playing shows with us.”

A first single from the band’s first album is due in April. It will be I Saw The Light, a new song from Craig Market and Wayne Winkle.
