Tony Rice diagnosed with pneumonia

Tony Rice has been diagnosed with pneumonia, and has had to cancel all tour dates for the indefinite future.

He had been enduring a chronic upper respiratory illness for some time, which had been presumed to be bronchitis. Now that the pneumonia has been identified, he can receive the proper treatment.

I’m sure that the entire bluegrass world joins us in wishing Tony a speedy recovery.
