Howdy folks, I want to share some good bluegrass news happening here in Hartford, Ct! The Firebox Restaurant is now in it’s 23rd consecutive week of successful bluegrass shows! We started out slow, like many venues, but have grown to a much anticipated Sunday night series!
Sunday, March 15th, we are trying something a little different. Leigh Gibson needs no introduction to you folks, but to our growing fan base, he’s less famous. Leigh has been working on a bunch of new songs, with and without brother Eric, and Leigh will be here at The Firebox along with flat picking buddy Tony Watt and joined by Dave Gandon on the bass. They will be doing lots of new songs for us! TrueGrass, will open the show.
This will be the first time we will move into the much larger “rear” dining room, as opposed to the front barroom!
Along with great weekly bluegrass, and now country music, the Firebox is famous for their locally grown foods and beverages.
