Old River from Nightflyer

Event Details

Rail River Road - NightflyerNightflyer has released a debut single from their upcoming album, Rail River & Road.

It’s their version of Hazel Dickens’ Old River, sung by banjo picker Ronnie Stewart, with guitarist Richard Propps taking the tenor. It’s a real vocal showpiece, certain to tickle the fancy of anyone who loves that high lonesome sound.

The track is available to radio programmers now at Airplay Direct, and fans can purchase the digital track for download at the band web site.

Here’s a taste…

The full album is expected in late August.

In addition to Ronnie on banjo and Richard on guitar, Nightflyer is Rick Hayes on mandolin, Tony Kakaris on bass, and Tim Jackson on reso-guitar. Clay Hess provided rhythm guitar on the single.
