Noah Brown to Junior Sisk

Event Details

Noah BrownJunior Sisk has announced Noah Brown as the bass player/tenor singer with his touring band, Rambler’s Choice. Noah had just indicated yesterday that he was stepping down from his position playing bass with Ralph Stanley II.

Just 19 years old, Brown has been playing bluegrass professionally for the past five years. Before coming on with Ralph II, he had worked as a younger teen with his father, banjo picker Tony Brown. The Browns, from southwestern Virginia, are also kin to Jeff Brown who performs nationally with his band, Still Lonesome.

Noah expressed his gratitude to Stanley and Sisk both.

“I’m very thankful for the opportunity Ralph II gave me and will always respect him as a mentor and overall great guy. I’m definitely looking forward to what’s in store for me now, and am very excited to start playing with Junior and the guys. It’s really a dream come true.”

He will be with Junior this Saturday (1/30) when they perform at a benefit for David Bickley at Bill’s Music Shop & Pickin’ Parlor in West Columbia, SC, and when their schedule picks back up again in March.
