Mountain Faith Band on America’s Got Talent

Event Details

If you didn’t catch Mountain Faith last night on America’s Got Talent, you should know that they absolutely killed it.

After a brief introductory discussion, they performed a grassed up version on One Republic’s Counting Stars. Summer McMahan’s lovely voice captured the audience’s attention immediately and the judges smiled throughout the entire song.

They represented bluegrass beautifully, and even kept smiling when Howard Stern rudely denigrated the style. But they won him over, and are moving on to the next portion of the competition.

Mountain Faith won’t be the first bluegrass act to go deep into this competition, but they might have the spark to really turn some heads along the way. Could they win it all?

We’ll have to follow them on Tuesday nights this summer and see.
