Joy Kills Sorrow live online

Event Details

We’ve posted several times about Joy Kills Sorrow, the inventive Boston string band that features the lovely voice of Emma Beaton. Their songs and their sound are fresh, original and quite compelling. Wes Corbett is on banjo, Jacob Joliff on mandolin, Matt Arcara on guitar and Bridget Kearney on bass.

The group is touring on the west coast this week in support of their new CD, Darkness Sure Becomes This City, and have a pair of live radio shows scheduled on Thursday (4/8). Both will be broadcast from northern California and can be heard online.

At 1:45 p.m. Pacific time (4:45 EDT) you can catch them on KHUM from Ferndale, and then at 3:00 p.m. Pacific (7:00 EDT), they will be on KHSU in Arcata.

Make a point to check them out live.
