Cherryholmes on Sirius Labor Day Weekend

Here’s still more bluegrass radio news for the long Labor Day weekend. Sirius Satellite Radio will broadcast a two hour special this weekend, featuring reigning IBMA Entertainer Of The Year, Cherryholmes. The show is a live performance of the band at Nashville’s Station Inn, recorded earlier this year.

Sirius subscribers will have three chances to catch the show this weekend on Channel 65, as can anyone with Dish Network Satellite TV where it can be found on channel 6065. It will run on Saturday evening (9/2) at 9:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon (9/3) at 5:00 p.m., and again on Monday afternoon (9/4) at 3:00 p.m. All times shown are Eastern.
If you are a subscriber but won’t be in the car – or near your Sirius receiver – you can listen online. A free 3-day trial subscription is available to non-subscribers for online listening should you want to sample Sirius’s offerings over the holiday weekend.

Cherryholmes has also recently starting working on a new CD, their second for Skaggs Family Records. Look for it by spring of ’07.
