Bluegrass Blog coverage of IBMA week in Nashville

Bluegrass Today will once again be offering coverage of the IBMA World of Bluegrass, starting Monday September 27 in Nashville.

This year, however, instead of Brance and myself reporting from WOB, we will have a team of correspondents and photographers on site. We believe that we can offer far more comprehensive coverage than in years past, with your humble bloggers coordinating from afar.

Our IBMA team, which we will introduce Monday morning, includes media professionals, musicians, festival promoters and fans. They will offer their perspectives on the many IBMA week festivities, including the daytime seminars, evening and late night musical performances, the vendor exhibit hall, Thursday’s Awards Show and the weekend Fan Fest.

A number of our contributors are artists who will chronicle their attempts to use IBMA week to increase their visibility in the bluegrass community. Their posts should make interesting reading for acts considering this in future.

Keep an eye on Bluegrass Today all week, and check back regularly for updates.
