MightyCord Records has released a trio of videos from Larry Cordle where he discusses the first few tracks from his upcoming All Star Duets CD. In each, Larry talks about the genesis of the song, all ones he has written, and how he got it into the hands of the country or bluegrass artists who made them hits.
It’s a project only Larry Cordle could release, and these are stories only he could tell. Here are Against The Grain, Mama, Don’t Forget To Pray For Me, and Highway 40 Blues.
Cordle plans to release similar videos, created by Passamano Bro. Productions, for all 12 tracks leading up to the album’s release in early November. You’ll be able to find them all on Larry’s Facebook page.
