Hammaville to Mountain Fever Records

Event Details

Hammaville

Virginia grassers Hammaville have been announced as the latest signees with Mountain Fever Records.

Founded just three years ago, the band comes from the Old Dominion’s Shenandoah Valley, and is made up of Danny Seabolt on guitar, Corey Rackley on mandolin, David Carroll on banjo, and Blaze Hammer on bass. Their speciality is hard-driving music shaped by their love of the bluegrass tradition that has come to them.

Amanda Cook, President of Mountain Fever Records, says that they are a perfect mix of old and new.

“Hammaville represents everything we love about bluegrass, respect for tradition paired with the courage to move it forward. Their energy, work ethic, and authenticity truly set them apart. From the first note, you can feel their connection to each other and to the audience, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to the Mountain Fever family.”

Here’s a look and listen to Hammavile from the Graves Mountain Festival of Music, on a song written by Seabolt’s father, called Old Dirt Road.

Cook says that we should expect to hear new music from Hammaville next month.
