Tim Graves back with Bobby O

Event Details

Bobby Osborne has announced that resonator guitarist Tim Graves has rejoined The Rocky Top X-Press, returning a year after he had recently departed. He had worked off and on with Bobby since 2001 when he joined The Osborne Brothers.

Graves is the nephew of the legendary slide man Josh Graves who all-but defined the reso style in bluegrass music during his many years with Flatt & Scruggs and later The Nashville Grass. Tim has also made a name for himself as a dobro player, and as a vocalist with his own group, Cherokee.

This brings the current lineup of Osborne’s band to include Bobby on mandolin and lead vocals, Daryl Mosley on bass, Bobby Osborne, Jr. on guitar, Michael Toppins on banjo, David Crow on fiddle, and Graves on resonator guitar.
