Steve and Nedski on Bluegrass Junction

Steve Martin will be featured this Sunday (6/19) on Sirius-XM, visiting with weekend host Ned Luberecki.

Ned is not only a popular broadcaster, he is also a highly skilled practitioner of the banjo arts. He tours and records as a member of Chris Jones & The Night Drivers, and has a duo project with guitarist Stephen Mougin of the Sam Bush Band.

Here’s his overview of the Martin segment…

“Steve came by the SiriusXM studios a few days ago and we talked about how he got started playing banjo, his new CD with the Steep Canyon Rangers, and we even got to pick a few! Steve was one of my earliest influences on the banjo (really!) so it was a real thrill for me to get to pick his brain, and his banjo!

Steve will be on my Sunday Banjo Lesson segment which airs from 3:00-4:00 eastern time on Bluegrass Junction, SiriusXM channel 61.”

Sounds like fun!
