Making My Way To You from Chris Henry

Making My Way To You - Chris HenryChris Henry, Nashville multi-instrumentalist and man-about-town, has released a new solo project.

Well, it’s almost a solo project. He did play all the guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, and drums, wrote and sang all the songs, and engineered and produced it all himself. But he had Jason Carter in to play some of the fiddle, had Sarah Sellari co-write one song and sing a few harmonies, and Smith Curry in to lay down some pedal steel and res-guitar. What a slacker.

The album is Making My Way To You, and Henry is offering it free of charge on Noisetrade, though tips and donations are accepted. Manufactured CDs will be available later this year.

Chris says that most of the songs here were written for his mom, the indomitable Murphy Henry. He wrote her 60 songs for her 60th birthday. Now that’s a good boy!
