Lonesome River Band to Moonstruck Management

Lonesome River Band has signed an exclusive representation and management agreement with Moonstruck Management.

The company is a new venture between two successful pros in music and artist representation: Josh Trivett, who manages Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, and Peter Keiser, who developed the music store and quasi-label system for Cracker Barrel.

LRB’s Sammy Shelor tells us that he made the move after watching the success Trivett has had with Doyle Lawson, bringing the band to new audiences and venues outside of the stereotypically bluegrass realm.

“They have a lot of connections with casinos and performance arts centers, and we feel like they can help us market Lonesome River Band in new and exciting ways.”

In addition to Lawson and LRB, Moonstruck manages bluegrass artists Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Don Rigsby & Midnight Call and Still House, along with country acts Kevin Denny, James Wesley and Sal Gonzalez.
