Carter Family flash mob in Portland

Event Details

The producers of the upcoming film, The Winding Stream – The Carters, the Cashes and the Course of Country Music, staged a flash mob earlier this month to generate interest for their documentary project.

One by one, musicians of every size, shape, type and age assembled into a throng at Portland’s Skidmore Fountain singing A.P. Carter’s classic Will The Circle Be Unbroken, with amused onlookers joining in.

The film has been in the works for some time, and the producers have begun a second Kickstater campaign to complete the editing process. This Kickstarter video explains what the project is all about.
