The Grascals are cooking with their new CD

Event Details

CMT's Hazel Smith is joined in the kitchen by (L-R) Grascals - Terry Eldredge, Terry Smith, Jamie Johnson and Danny Roberts. The Grascals‘ new CD isn’t about food, it’s about Country Classics With A Bluegrass Spin. Nonetheless, The Grascals seem to be finding themselves around food a lot.

The CD itself is released on the Grascal’s new label BluGrascal Records, in association with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. This is one of the CDs you’ll find on the display rack the next time you visit a Cracker Barrel restaurant.

As if that wasn’t enough, the band is on the road promoting the new recording and tomorrow you’ll be able to watch the band members cook up some Southern delicacies as they join Hazel Smith on CMT’s Southern Fried Flicks With Hazel Smith.

THE GRASCALS join Hazel to cook up marvelously juicy Pork Tenderloin Medallions, delicious Green Bean Casserole, yummy Corn Casserole, Salad and Amy’s Very Cherry Cake, and chat about their latest project.  Smith is the mother of THE GRASCALS’ bassist, Terry Smith, and you can catch CMT’s Southern Fried Flicks With Hazel Smith on January 15 at 6 p.m. ET.  The movie is Deliverance and the program repeats January 16 at 2 p.m. ET.

The Grascals & Friends – Country Classics With A Bluegrass Spin is available exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations and website. To make a good thing even better, Cracker Barrel is donating a portion of the proceeds the CD to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
