2011 Dove Awards

Event Details

The winners of the 2011 Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Association were announced last night during their annual gala awards presentation in Atlanta. This year marked the 42nd presentation of these awards, which encompass a wide variety of Gospel music styles.

The GMA has a pair of bluegrass specific categories, and Bluegrass Today wants to note and congratulate the winners.

  • Bluegrass Recorded Song Of The Year: Mountaintop, from Straight From the Heart of Dixie by Lizzy Long & Little Roy Lewis, written by Wayne Haun, Lyn Rowell, Lizzy Long.
  • Bluegrass Album Of The Year: Singing From The Heart by Dailey & Vincent

Well done, and kudos to them both!
