Would You Pay To See Steve Martin Play The Banjo?

Event Details

Results at 10:45 AM EST - 4.24.09That’s the question PollStar is asking.

PollStar is a major hub for finding concert dates of your favorite artists. Searching for an artist, such as Rhonda Vincent, will present you with a complete list of concert dates, including more info about the venue or date, and in some cases, the option to purchase tickets to the event.

Apparently Steve Martin is scheduled to do a charity benefit for the Los Angeles Public Library (info here), and instead of being funny, he plans to be  musical. Some people might find the banjo funny, but apparently, not everyone does.

So, PollStar is asking its readers if they would be willing to pay money to hear Steve Martin play the banjo, even if he was not going to do anything funny.

Their poll doesn’t tell you how many people have voted, but the results indicate that, at present, 56% would, and another 25% would if the ticket price was under $20.

Way to go PollStar readers!
