Welcome Sean Henry

sean_henryWhat could be more joyous than a Christmas baby!

A Merry Christmas bluegrass welcome to Sean Maxwell Henry, the second son born to banjo player and instructor, Casey Henry. Sean joined the Henry family on December 11, coming in at 8 lbs, 6 oz and 21.5 ” long.

Thousands of banjo players know Casey from her work with the Henry family business, The Murphy Method, which offers DVD instruction for all the bluegrass instruments. She also provides custom lessons online.

Casey had planned a home birth all along for Sean, but he was in such a hurry to get here that he beat the midwife!

Mother and baby are doing well, and big brother Dalton, who is four years old, seems to approve.

Congratulations to Casey (and grandparents Red and Murphy), and welcome Sean Maxwell Henry!
