Wanderlust in June from the Davidson Brothers

Wanderlust - The Davidson Brothers

Australia’s Davidson Brothers, Hamish and Lachlan, have completed work on a new album, Wanderlust, which is due to hit on June 20.

The brothers are the continent’s most celebrated bluegrass act, and are also quite popular in the thriving Aussie country music market. Their sound is brash and in-your-face, very much in keeping with the adventurous, fun-loving image that Australians are often shown to embrace.

Wanderlust finds the boys having recorded with their touring band at home in Melbourne. Recent albums had been tracked in the US, and both of them express great pride in making their Australian bluegrass close to home.

In this behind-the-scenes videos, Hamish and Lachlan introduce the members of their band and chat about what we can expect when the new record drops next month.

US audiences and promoters will have a chance to check them out at the IBMA World of Bluegrass convention in late September, where The Davidson Brothers will be visiting as an officially invited showcase act.

You can find out more about the boys online.
