The Hillbenders – Down To My Last Dollar

Down To My Last Dollar, the debut CD from Missouri-based grassers The Hillbenders, was released on April 16. It was produced by Jeremy Chapman and features guest fiddling from Jeremy Garrett of The Infamous Stringdusters.

The group has been performing together as currently situated for the past year, during which time this album has been recorded. The Hillbenders are anchored by cousins Jim and Gary Rea on guitar and bass respectively, along with Mark Cassidy on banjo, Nolan Lawrence on mandolin and Chad Graves on resonator guitar.

But rather than explain the band’s history here, let’s watch this video introduction they put together.

Down To My Last Dollar is available from the band’s web site, where a number of package offers can be found.
