Swift Enterprises to sponsor Edgar Loudermilk

Edgar Loudermilk with Jeff AutryMore news this week from The Edgar Loudermilk Band, featuring Jeff Autry.

It has been announced this morning that Swift Enterprises, a trucking company based in Cleveland, TN, will sponsor Edgar and Jeff on the road this year.

Company owner Gregory Swift is a long time bluegrass fan, ever since he saw New Grass Revival in the 1980s. When Jeff Autry was touring with John Cowan years later, Jeff started noticing Swift as a regular fixture at shows, and before long the two were fast friends.

Gregory said that when Edgar and Jeff started working together, he brought them in for a show and everything clicked.

Swift Enterprises“Jeff and I became friends and he’s been playing Swift Enterprises events regularly for some time. In 2015, the Edgar Loudermilk Band, featuring Jeff Autry, played our party and everyone really enjoyed the sound and talent up on the stage. The idea of a possible tour sponsorship by Swift Enterprises for Edgar and Jeff sounded like a great match and we look forward to an incredible 2016 season.

When the band heads for California later this month, their Chevrolet 3500 passenger van will be wrapped courtesy of Swift Enterprises, who will cover their tour expenses for the year. Tour stops are listed on the band web site.

Pinecastle Records has new albums on tap for The Edgar Loudermilk Band, featuring Jeff Autry, and a solo project for Jeff, Foothills, this Spring.
