Stillhouse Jane video from Templeton Thompson

Country music singer and songwriter Templeton Thompson has taken a turn to the bluegrass for her latest video, Stillhouse Jane.

It’s the story of a woman who can’t seem to keep away from the moonshine whiskey, and the video plays it up for all the cornpone humor you might expect.

Stillhouse Jane was written by Templeton and her husband, Sam Gay. It was recorded with Gay on guitar, his brother John on mandolin, Harold Kennedy on banjo and Jimmy Mattingly on fiddle.

Thompson is perhaps most visible as a songwriter, with cuts on major label projects from the likes of Reba McEntire and Jo Dee Messina. She is also a noted horsewoman with her own line of cowgirl clothing, Planet Cowgirl.

The song will be featured on an upcoming album, but can be purchased as a single download online now.
