Southern Flavor in the studio

Event Details

Dark Shadow Recordings and Becky Buller have out together a fun video that tells the story of her latest single, a remake of Bill Monroe’s Southern Flavor.

The song was written as an instrumental, and recorded that way by Bill and the Bluegrass Boys. Subsequent to that recording, Bill commissioned lyrics to be written, though he never cut that version.

But Becky did. She assembled a group in the studio consisting of all former Blue Grass Boys to recreate this Monroe classic from 1988.

We’ll let her tell the tale…

Southern Flavor is available for download to radio programmers now at Airplay Direct. It will be included on her next album, ‘Tween Earth and Sky.
