Sugar Hill has prepared a video interview with Sarah Jarosz about her upcoming Follow Me Down album, due for release May 17.
Jarosz is poised to perhaps become the next singer/songwriter to emerge from the bluegrass and old time world, and find success in the wider mainstream music market. Her 2009 debut album and several recent television appearances have found a wide audience for her songs, which embrace modern pop sensibilities merged with traditional folk instrumentation.
In the video, Sarah speaks about a number of the songs, and the guest musicians and singers who tracked with her, while audio from the CD is previewed.
We spoke with Sarah about the new record earlier this month, and will run our interview next week.
