Richard Bennett and Wyatt Rice to tour

Event Details

Richard Bennett and Wyatt RiceTwo of today’s most noted practitioners of the Tony Rice guitar style are teaming up for selected tour dates next year and beyond. Wyatt Rice is Tony’s brother, who learned at the master’s knee and has served as his rhythm guitarist this past 30 years. Richard Bennett not only epitomizes Tony’s approach to flatpicking, he has incorporated many of Rice’s vocal flourishes into his own singing style.

These two fiery pickers, along with rotating bass players, are now available for festival and concert dates. Material will be drawn from both their various solo projects, and flatpicking favorites they each enjoy playing. Only limited dates will be offered as Richard continues to perform regularly in Pigeon Forge, TN and Wyatt is committed to work as a member of the Tony Rice Unit.

Details about available dates can be obtained from Joey Jones of Rock House Entertainment Group, who is representing them for these duo shows.
