Randall Hibbitts & Appalachia to Wilson Pickins

Randall HibbitsWilson Pickins Bluegrass Promotions has made another move in the bluegrass biz, signing Randall Hibbitts & Appalachia for booking representation.

Randall played bass for Ralph Stanley & the Clinch Mountain Boys for much of the last few years of Stanley’s life, leaving the group in February of this year to start his own group. He’s touring now in support of his 2014 album, Traveler.

With him in Appalachia are Junior Blankenship on guitar (another former Clinch Mountain Boy), Dillon Abney on banjo, and Don Anderson on bass. They are looking forward to taping a performance for Song Of The Mountains in October, and a busy festival season in 2017.

Promoters, publicists, and radio hosts are invited to contact Melanie Wilson with Wilson Pickins to discuss live appearances or interviews.
