The long-rumored and oft-denied Nickel Creek reunion tour is official. Today a series of show dates, and a new album, have been officially announced.
Tickets for a limited Spring tour go on sale tomorrow (2/4), with additional festival shows this Summer to be announced soon.
Currently scheduled dates include:
- April 18-19 – Ryman Auditorium – Nashville, TN
- April 29 – Beacon Theatre – New York, NY
- May 1 – House of Blues – Boston, MA
- May 3 – 9:30 Club – Washington, DC
- May 9 – Riviera Theater – Chicago, IL
- May 19 – Fox Theater – Oakland, CA
- June 19-22 – Telluride Bluegrass Festival – Telluride, CO
The band has released this sneak peak from the new album, a track titled Destination.
